What is the E-Summit?
The E-Summit is a live interactive health education webcast that will address health issues that are important to Black men. Speakers will discuss health related issues that are designed to help prevent and detect diseases at their earliest stage. The live webcast will allow participants to submit questions that will be answered during the live web broadcast. After the broadcast, participants will have the opportunity to ask doctors, pharmacists, and nurses health questions through email, text or telephone.
The Black Men’s Health E-Summit a history making project: the first of its kind! The E- Summit will provide the same life-saving information and access to services that are provided annually at the Summit held at the convention center. However, the E-Summit provides a unique opportunity to reach men anywhere in the World! The E-Summit can be accessed via computer, smart phone or tablet. There will also be locations available for participants to come and watch the live webcast with other men. All men registered, and in attendance at the E-Summit location or on the internet will receive a voucher to participate in free health screenings on July 18th for prostate cancer, heart disease, HIV, oral cancer, hearing, vision, and mental health. Every man will also receive a free gift for participating in the E-Summit.
